Itinerary
10 days/9 nights
Day 1: Karibu! We warmly welcome you at the airport after a long flight, and immediately begin our journey to the hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, we drive to Londorosi Gate for registration and other formalities. After lunch, we lunch in the picnic area and then make a short drive to the starting point. The distance to the first camp, Mti Mkubwa, is 7km and will take roughly 3.5 to 4 hours. Its elevation is 9,200 feet high.
Day 3: After breakfast, we head towards Shira Plateau, which stands at 11,550 feet high. Its another 7km away but will take roughly 6 to 7 hours. This is where we eventually leave the forest environment behind us and approach the moorlands.
Day 4: We continue towards the Shira II Camp, standing at 12,220 feet high. This is a steady, uphill climb with another 7km distance, and about 3 to 4 hours walking time. Once we reach camp, we eat lunch and rest.
Day 5: After breakfast, we head towards Barranco Camp, standing at 13,100 feet high. It’s about 10km away, with a walking time of 6 to 7 hours. On the way, we climb to the base of Lava Tower, then we descend to Barranco for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 6: After breakfast, we have 4km in front of us with a time of 3.5 to 4 hours. We head towards Karanga Camp, where we have dinner and rest.
Day 7: A short day ahead of us, with a distance of 5km to Barafu Camp. Walking time of 3.5 to 4 hours. Once reading the camp, we eat lunch. We then rest and eat dinner slightly early due to summit day being upon us.
Day 8: Summit day! We wake up around midnight and eat a small snack for an energy boost. The goal is to reach the summit by 7:00am in order to view the sunset, and celebrate with a lot of pictures!
Day 9: After summit day, we eat breakfast and depart around 9am. We descend towards Mweka Gate, where we will eat lunch and receive certificates of completion. After this, we head back to town.
Day 10: After a restful night, we either bring you to the airport or collect you for safari!

Mt. Kilimanjaro - Rongai Route

Day 2: After breakfast, we head towards Nale Muru Gate for registration and other formalities. We head towards Simba Camp, about 6km away with a walking time of 6 to 7 hours.
Day 3: After breakfast, we head towards Kikelelwa Camp. It's a long one, almost 16km which we cover in about 6 to 7 hours.
Day 4: After breakfast, we head towards Mawenzi Tarn Camp which is a short 3km away. We reach in about 3 to 4 hours.
Day 5: After breakfast, we head towards Kibo Camp at a distance of about 9km with a walking time of about 3 to 4 hours.
Day 6: Summit day! We wake up around midnight and eat a small snack for an energy boost. The goal is to reach the summit by 7:00am in order to view the sunset, and celebrate with a lot of pictures!
Day 7: After summit day, we eat breakfast and depart around 9am. We descend towards Marangu Gate, where we will eat and receive certificates of completion. After this, we head back to town.
Day 8: After a restful night, we either bring you to the airport or collect you for safari!

Mt. Kilimanjaro - Machame Route

Day 1: Karibu! We warmly welcome you at the airport after a long flight, and immediately begin our journey to the hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, We head towards Machame Gate for registration and other formalities, which is about a 45-minute drive. After that, we begin our trek through plantation and forest towards Machame Camp, standing about 9,000 feet high. This will take about 4.5 to 5 hours and cover around 11km.
Day 3: After breakfast, we ascend through more forest into open moorlands for about 5km, with a time of 4 to 5 hours until we reach Shira Camp.
Day 4: After breakfast, we cover 10km today with a timing of about 6 to 7 hours, towards Lava Tower, standing at 15,180 feet high. We head towards Barranco Camp where we overnight.
Day 5: After breakfast, we’re looking at a walking time of 3.5 to 4 hours to cover 4km. We leave Barranco Camp and head towards Karanga Camp where we overnight.
Day 6: A short day ahead of us, with a distance of 5km to Barafu Camp. Walking time of 3.5 to 4 hours. Once reading the camp, we eat lunch. We then rest and eat dinner slightly early due to summit day being upon us.

Day 2: After breakfast, we head towards Marangu Gate for registration and other formalities. After that, we trek towards Mandara Hut which is about 8km away and takes about 3 to 4 hours by foot.
Day 3: After breakfast, we head towards Horombo Camp. It's about 5 to 6 hours of trekking.
Day 4: After breakfast, we cover about 9km in about 4 to 5 hours towards Kibo Hut.
Day 5: Summit day! We wake up around midnight and eat a small snack for an energy boost. The goal is to reach the summit by 7:00am in order to view the sunset, and celebrate with a lot of pictures!
Day 6: After summit day, we eat breakfast and depart around 9am. We descend towards Marangu Gate, where we will eat and receive certificates of completion. After this, we head back to town.

Mt. Kilimanjaro - One Day Hike

Unfortunately, it's impossible to climb Kili in one day! However, this one day itinerary can give you a taste of what it's like.
Your day starts right after breakfast, with a drive from your hotel to the Marangu Gate, a trip that will take around 3 hours.
At the gate we'll spend some time going through the registration process. fter that, we begin to hike towards Marangu Route, a route well-known for its moderate slopes. On the way to Mandara Hut (our destination), we will be served a picnic lunch while enjoying the stunning rainforest surroundings.
Once we reach Mandara, we will have a 30 minute break before descending back down to Marangu Gate.Our private vehicle will be waiting for you, ready to drive you back to your hotel.

Mt. Meru - Meru Route

Day 2: After breakfast, we head towards Momella Gate for registration and other formalities. We head towards Miriakamba Hut, about 10km away with a walking time of 5 to 6 hours. It stands at 8,370 feet high.
Day 3: After breakfast, we head towards Saddle Hut 3 to 4 hours away.
Day 4: Summit day! We wake up around midnight and eat a small snack for an energy boost. The goal is to reach the summit by 7:00am in order to view the sunset, and celebrate with a lot of pictures!
Day 5: After breakfast, we head towards Momella Gate where you will be picked up by one of our safari vehicles.
